Good morning Hamden Rovers club members.
Another successful week of Hamden Rovers soccer clinic. Coach Kirk Taylor focused on a 1v1 exercise this week, while Robert Tullonge Jr. assisted with executing the drills. Michael Minto and Donovan Lofter did a recap of rocket launching, and money management.
The next US rocket launch is July 30th, 2021.
"Boeing CST-100 Starliner Orbital Flight Test (OFT) will launch the spacecraft aboard an Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station SLC-41 to the ISS.”
Regarding money management:

Hamden Rovers 2021 Spring Raffle!
Purchase your raffle tickets now for a chance to win. The drawing is in ( 5 ) five days. Remember tickets are being sold at Tony & Jackie's (Allure Beauty & Barber Shop), Dave & Mark's (Top Cut Barbershop), Food Lovers Delight restaurant, Island Spice restaurant, and Kool Breeze restaurant. All locations are in the New Haven area.These are our local businesses, lets patronize them. Proceeds will support our local community charity events, our O40 Hamden Rovers soccer team, and the Jamaica United soccer team.
The drawing will be held at the
Muzuem Sports and Grill. 627 Campbell avenue in West Haven at 8pm on Friday, July 16th, 2021. You're all invited to attend the live drawing, its also an opportunity to meet and greet our fellow members.We are looking forward to see you there. It will also be shown live on Facebook. Remember the First prize is an 80"/ 82"TV, second prize is an $600.00 Air line ticket voucher, and the third prize is an overnight stay at a local Casino.
There may be Federal and State tax consequences with winners of these raffle prizes. Contact your tax consultant with regards to tax liabilities.

Soccer teams update.
Hamden Rovers plays home against Southbury Soccer Club at Carusone Park/ St.Ann field at 10am. Come out and support. Go Rovers Go !
Also Jamaica United will play against Juniors today at 1:30 pm. The game will be played at the Nike Site Park, at 91 Bullhead Lane in West Haven. Come out and support. Go Jamaica United go!
Our 6 v/s 6 soccer tournament is still in the planning stages to be held this summer. Plans are being drafted up as we speak. Start putting your teams together.
Hamden Rovers is a nonprofit organization, so if your students are looking to fill community service hours for school credit, we welcome their help. Its very beneficial to the growth of your children. Thanks to Robert Tullonge Jr. For assisting this week.
Hamden Rovers incorporation is an 501C3 nonprofit organization in which our mission supports a social cause and provides public benefits to our community.
We have been granted tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Services (IRS). A 990 IRS form will be sent to everyone at the end of the year to those who have contributed.
Just an fyi to all, our monthly membership dues are due on the 15th of each month.
