Hamden Rovers soccer clinic was held indoors today due to rain.
Moving from outdoor to an indoor settings. Michael Minto guided the kids through the practical and theory process of building a rocket.
" Unlike airplanes' jet engines, rockets are designed to work in space: They don't have intakes for air, and they bring along their own oxidizers, substances that play the role of oxygen in burning fuel"

Tickets are being sold at Tony & Jackie's (Allure Beauty & Barber Shop), Dave & Mark's (Top Cut Barbershop), Food Lovers Delight restaurant, Island Spice restaurant, and Kool Breeze restaurant. All locations are in the New Haven area.These are our local businesses, lets patronize them.
And remember proceeds will support our local community charity events, our O40 Hamden Rovers soccer team, and the Jamaica United soccer team.
The drawing will be shown live on Facebook at 8pm on Friday, July 16th, 2021. First prize is an 80"/ 82"TV, second prize is an $600.00 Air line ticket voucher, and the third prize is an overnight stay at a local Casino.
There may be Federal and State tax consequences with winners of these raffle prizes. Contact your tax consultant with regards to tax liabilities.

Soccer teams!
None of our local soccer team are playing this weekend. Both soccer teams are off on Sunday. Enjoy your independence weekend.
Our 6 v/s 6 soccer tournament is still in the planning stages to be held in the summer. Plans are being drafted up as we speak. Start putting your teams together.

As alluded to for the past few weeks, Hamden Rovers is a nonprofit organization, so if your students are looking to fill community service hours for school credit, we welcome their help. Its very beneficial to the growth of your children.
Lets support our local Fish Fry events in our community.

Hamden Rovers incorporation is an 501C3 nonprofit organization in which our mission supports a social cause and provides public benefits to our community.
We have been granted tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Services (IRS). A 990 IRS form will be sent to everyone at the end of the year to those who have contributed.
Just an fyi to all, our monthly membership dues are due on the 15th of each month.
