Good afternoon Hamden Rovers club members.
Another successful day. Week two of our second annual Hamden Rovers soccer clinic was well received my the parents and their children. Remember our soccer camps offers more than just a chance to improve and develop the youths soccer skills. Today we taught a money management class. The kids were split-up in groups of four, teaching budgeting, buying stocks and unit shares from major company's etc.,

Sunday, June 27th, 2021 Hamden Rovers O40 soccer team is scheduled to play Bridgeport United FC in Bridgeport at Seaside Park at 10am. Bridgeport United is our rival team, and we take pleasure in winning against them. Come out and support our Hamden Rovers soccer team. Go Rovers go!
Seaside Part is at the beach in Bridgeport and you will need a pass to enter the beach, please tell the beach attendee you're there to play a soccer game or support Hamden Rovers soccer team, and they will give you a day pass to put on your car dashboard.
This passed Wednesday, our zoom communication meeting was another heartfelt one, hearing from the boys of the Sunbeam Orphans in St.Catherine Jamaica. Questions were asked to us like, what does it take to be an Entrepreneur, a Pediatrician, a Police officer, and a Soldier etc.,

Our panel discussion members consisted of Robert Tullonge, Leroy Francis,Tony Caldar, Donovan Lofter, Michael Minto, Gregory Hamilton, Beverly Felix, Kirk Gordon, Donovan Cameron, and joining our panel for the first time were Kenny Fresh, and Shane Barnett.
Remember Sunbeam is a children home to serve children and young adults in Jamaica, to provide a safe and nurturing environment, and to teach the principles of Christian living.

The Jamaica United soccer team with leading goal scorer CJ plays at 1:30pm against the local African soccer team. The African soccer team is managed by Musa, and ( Qui) Quiwonkpa. The game will be played at the Nike Site Part located at 91 Bullhead lane Tomorrow, Sunday, June 27th, 2021. Come out and show your support. Go Jamaica United go!

Tickets are being sold at Tony & Jackie's (Allure Beauty & Barber Shop) in New Haven, Dave & Mark's (Top Cut Barbershop) in New Haven, Food Lovers Delight restaurant in Hew Haven, Island Spice restaurant in New Haven, and Kool Breeze restaurant in New Haven. These are our local businesses, lets patronize them.
And remember proceeds will support our local community charity events, our O40 Hamden Rovers soccer team, and Jamaica United soccer team.
The drawing will be shown live on Facebook at 8pm on Friday, July 16th,2021. First prize is an 80"/ 82"TV, second prize is an Air line ticket voucher, and the third prize is a overnight stay at a local Casino.
There may be Federal and State tax consequences with winners of these raffle prizes. Contact your tax consultant with regards to tax liabilities.

Our 6 v/s 6 soccer tournament is still in the planning stages to be held in the summer. Plans are being draft up as we speak. Start putting your teams together.

As alluded to for the past few weeks, Hamden Rovers is a nonprofit organization, so if your students are looking to fill community service hours for school credit, we welcome their help. Its very beneficial to the growth of your children.

Hamden Rovers incorporation is an 501C3 nonprofit organization in which our mission supports a social cause and provides public benefits to our community.
We have been granted tax-exempt status by the Internal Revenue Services (IRS). A 990 IRS form will be sent to everyone at the end of the year to those who have contributed.
Just an fyi to all, our monthly membership dues are due on the 15th of each month.
