Saturday, June 12th, 2021.

Good evening Hamden Rovers club members. This week's meeting notes are as follow:

Why we serve!

Hamden Rovers leadership team strongly believes charity work is essential because it provides a mechanism to assist our community, our families and friends with the ability to make opportunities become reality. We do this work with no hesitation and no expectation of personal gain. When we give we gain the joy of creating and improving relationships.

Hamden Rovers presents our 2021 Spring Raffle. Purchase your Raffle tickets now for a chance to win.

Tickets are being sold at Tony & Jackie's (Allure Beauty & Barber Shop) in New Haven, Dave & Mark's (Top Cut Barbershop) in New Haven, Food Lovers Delight restaurant in Hew Haven, Island Spice restaurant in New Haven, and Cool Breeze restaurant in New Haven. These are our local businesses, lets patronize them.

We will be hosting a zoom call with the Sunbeam Orphans and are looking for members who are interested in sharing their own motivational stories to offer hope and inspiration for these youth. The date is set for next week Wednesday night at 8pm June 16th, 2021.

Just an FYI as a reminder, the Sunbeam is a children home to serve children and young adults in Jamaica, to provide a safe and nurturing environment, and to teach the principles of Christian living.

Words of wisdom from Clifton George Bailey III to the Sunbeam youths.
